Privacy notice
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This notice explains what personal data Spear collects through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Spear America LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Spear”, “we”). Spear is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us about privacy through the contact form.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (if given) and the content of your message.
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and request times in server logs, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out that engagement. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To keep the website secure and working. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure site.
We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.
Who receives it
Your data is processed by the service providers we rely on to run the website and our email, including our hosting provider. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
International transfers
Spear is based in the United States and works with clients in Europe and the Middle East, so your data may be processed outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. If no engagement follows, we delete it within 24 months. If we work together, we keep it for the duration of the engagement and any period required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
